BUCSHON RECEIVES NFIB ENDORSEMENT
(EVANSVILLE, IN) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has officially endorsed Dr. Larry Bucshon’s reelection to represent Indiana’s 8th Congressional District.
Dr. Larry Bucshon released the following state regarding his endorsement:
"I am proud and humbled to receive the support of the small business community. I understand small business owners are responsible for their own success and are the backbone of our nation’s economy. I am committed to fostering an economic environment that promotes free enterprise - a system on which our nation was founded. I will continue working to end job killing regulation, prevent the President’s tax hikes, and repeal Obamacare so that our small businesses can grow and create jobs. Hoosiers cannot afford to elect my opponent who supports the job crushing legislation Obamacare and has endorsed President Obama – a president who believes our government is responsible for the success of small business."
In a press release NFIB Vice President of Political and Grassroots, Lisa Goeas, stated:
“Larry Bucshon has proven to NFIB that he is committed to doing big things for small business. Congressman Bucshon understands that small business needs to be incentivized to succeed, and under the current tax structure and regulatory burden, this just isn’t possible. Congressman Bucshon has consistently voted for small business and our nation’s job creators, and we trust that he will continue to help provide small business with a fighting chance for success.”
Also, State Director of NFIB Indiana, Barbara Quandt, stated:
“Congressman Larry Bucshon is a trusted leader for Indiana small business. By working to reduce unnecessary regulations, Congressman Bucshon is helping small-business owners to focus on actually running their businesses; putting people across our state back to work.”
The National Federation of Independent Business is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that represents small and independent businesses in all 50 states as well as Washington D.C. The organization represents 1,820 members in Indiana’s 8th District.
