Dr. Bucshon Endorsed by U.S. Chamber of Commerce
April 24, 2012
Dr. Larry Bucshon has received the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest business federation, in his campaign for re-election as Indiana’s 8th District Representative in the U.S. Congress.
In their letter of endorsement, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce stated:
“We believe that your re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives will help produce sustained economic growth, help create more jobs, and get our country back on track.”
“It is the Chamber’s goal to help elect a pro-business majority in Congress and work diligently in support of the interests of businesses large and small to advance legislation that encourages economic growth, job creation, and a less intrusive federal government. Your record of support on pro-business issues earned this endorsement.”
In response to the endorsement, Dr. Bucshon made the following statement:
“I’m proud to receive the endorsement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, an organization which shares my passion to foster economic growth and job creation in our community. We cannot afford President Obama’s failed big government policies, which have resulted in continuous high unemployment. We must get Hoosiers back to work.”
This is the third major endorsement of Dr. Bucshon's campaign in the last month, with endorsements from the National Rifle Association and Indiana Right to Life announced at the end of March.
